Fresh particulars have surfaced about the shocking deaths of acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were found at their Brentwood, Los Angeles property on Sunday.

A source indicates citing a confidential source, a massage therapist scheduled for an appointment first raised the alarm after being unable to gain access the home. This individual then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives in the vicinity.

After gaining access to the residence, Romy discovered her father's body. Accounts indicate she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, unaware at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had gone with her then dialed 911. Following this, paramedics discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Developments

The police have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of murder in the first degree, as well as the use of a dangerous weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently in custody and denied bail.
