Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area events included a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
